Head Coach Chris Trujillo

2011/12 Midget A

Chris Trujillo was born in San Jose, Calif and started playing ice hockey when he was 10 years old. Chris played Tier 1 hockey from first year bantam through all his midget years. After finishing midget Chris began to play roller hockey and competed with team Mission USA in the World Tournament in Toronto, Canada.

Chris has also played professional hockey in the Serie A1 Italian Super Leggia for the Empoli Flying Donkeys.  Chris came to the San Diego Jr Gulls in 2008 with 6 years of previous coaching experience in ages 4 to adult. Since his 3 years coaching with the Gulls, he has made 3 SCAHA playoff appearances including one second place season  and 1 CAHA state appearance. This year he is excited to be coaching at the Midget level as he feels it will be a great opportunity to work with older players who he can share his knowledge and experience.   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
