The San Diego Gulls Amateur Hockey Club is co-hosting the "Thanksgiving Celebration" hockey tournament to be held November 24-26, 2000 at San Diego Ice Arena, Iceoplex and Ice Chalet.

We fully support the San Diego Tournament Hockey Association and the tournament organizers and encourage all teams interested in attending this tournament to visit the official tournament website at www.starshockey.com.

Hello Coaches and Managers,

We have been working with our ice rinks, SDIA and Iceoplex to host more tournaments during the year. SDIA and Iceoplex will be hosting a large Thanksgiving Tournament. Teams from out of state love to come here during that time frame and our families love the opportunity to stay home during Turkey season.

We are strongly suggesting that each team participate in this thanksgiving tournament if no other plans have been made. We will be marketing to fill this tournament with qualified teams. If we can get a large participation out of our club, our vision would be an annual tournament that would be by "invitation" each year. We receive many phone calls during the year from other clubs wondering when we will be having a tournament in San Diego.

If you need more information, please contact Mark Graham or Rob Powell. Otherwise, please let me know what your commitment is for this tournmanet for each team.

Please consider, it's in the best interest of the "gulls hockey program" to support these ice rinks. They have been officially selected to "house" our farm teams within their own in-house programs. We (The San Diego Gulls Amateur Hockey Club) will be working closely with them in the future to promote hockey at a development level for gulls consideration.
